The Allegheny SAF has a membership of 1,100 professional foresters in the five states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

The Rothrock Chapter, invites you to attend the upcoming summer meeting of Allegheny Society of American Foresters in State College, PA, August 5-6, 2026.

This summer meeting offers a shorter agenda structure that prioritizes time spent gathered together – around good food and in the forest.

Registration Cost All events are included with flat registration fee. Register before July 15. After this date, a late registration fee of $20 is applicable. No registration after July 30. Online registration is coming soon. Paper registrations will also be accepted.

Virtual SAF Town Hall - August 12

SAF will hosted a virtual town hall on August 12 at 3pm EST.

This follows up on an earlier town hall, and announcement to the House Society of Delegates that the Board of Directors has approved motions to adjust SAF governance.  Any such motion must be approved by membership via a referendum, which will be open for the month of September.

Allegheny SAF Summer Training - September 25-27, 2024

The WVSAF hosted the annual Summer Training for fellowship and education at Cacapon Resort State Park in Berkeley Springs, WV. 818 Cacapon Lodge Drive, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411. The agenda focused on forestry in the Chesapeake Watershed.

The Allegheny SAF Winter Training - February 15-17, 2023

The Allegheny SAF Winter Training - February 16-18, 2022

Allegheny SAF 2021 Annual Winter Meeting to Be Virtual

In light of current events and our inability to meet in person, the Allegheny Society of American Foresters will host our Annual Meeting “virtually on Zoom” on the evening of Wednesday, March 10, 2021, beginning at 6:30 pm. This will serve as our annual business meeting, with the intended audience being our entire Allegheny SAF membership, similar to the meetings that we typically hold on Friday mornings during our normal annual Winter Meetings. This will also be our opportunity to present awards, recognitions, and other items. Please save the date and plan to attend if you are able.

The Zoom meeting link will be provided to our membership prior to the event.

Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing everyone on March 10.
